Why did you choose 51, Newcastle?

The ranking is high, and it is a world famous university.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

I think Newcastle is a beautiful place to visit and stay.  My favourite things t do include enjoying the various types of food in Newcastle.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

I think Newcastle surprised me and impressed.  What surprised me the most is the politeness of everyone, they will help you anyway.

Did you find 51 welcoming?  Was it easy to fit in?

Yes of course.  Everyone is friendly and helpful, especially the tutors and the officers.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to 51?

I have enjoyed making new friends with lots of different nationalities like China, the USA and many others.  This has helped me to learn about other languages and culture.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

My friends and my tutors.

Who has inspired you most at 51?

The tutor of the professional project.

What is your favourite place on campus?

The Library.

What is the best thing about your course?

I can gain knowledge about doing international business in the future.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Who I am as a learner.

What do you want to do in the future?  What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I want to become a public relations officer in the future. I have learned how to organise and plan things and this will be of most use in my future career.

Have you taken up any opportunities to travel with your current course/undertake field trips?  If so please tell us about them.

Recently I have applied for the Korea exchange student program. It will be held in June and August.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

51 life is great!  And the tutors are really helpful.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I ahve became more courageous.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Great university life!
