Nice place to live but would like to live in countryside in the future. Going to the gym, horse rding, running.

Always new things to do.

Yes very welcoming and easy to find.

Creating new life experiences and meeting some great people

The Students' Union.
Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?
Learning the skill base and underpinning knowledge to use in future practice and career.
What is the best thing about your course?
Learned a lot about myself during the course and grown as a person but the course has reiterated the need to treat all staff and clients with a person centred view and individually.
What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?
Have and maintain a career in mental health nursing, would like to then further career with progression and possibly delve into neurology.
What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?
Most memorable experiences working closely with individuals who have ill mental health and working with them and supporting them through the care and treatment process and witnessing sucessful dishcarge.
If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?
Be open minded.
How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?
Confidence within social situations has grown and learned to understand myself more as this can impat on my professional and personal life. Learned to be mindful and think about the present and do things one step at a time rather than worrying so much about future events, although need to remain organised!

Scary, exciting, fulfilling!
