Why did you choose 51, Newcastle?

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

I enjoy the nightlife.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

How amazing the nightlife is!

Did you find 51 welcoming?  Was it easy to fit in?

Yes it was very welcoming and easy to fit in!

What have you enjoyed most about coming to 51?

How great the University Library is, it has helped to manage and reduce my overall workload.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

My flatmates.

Who has inspired you most at 51?

Everyone I meet inspires me in different ways!

What is your favourite place on campus?

The Library.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects?  Tells us about the highlights?

Nothing like that, but I am active any in other extra curricular activities like working as a Mentor, part of University marketing campaign team etc.

What is the best thing about your course?

Doing Financial management but it is helpful to do well in the business and administration fields.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

How to make money and minimise risk.

What do you want to do in the future?  What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I would like to go into the field of business.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement?  What were your most memorable experiences?

I got the chance to take part in the La Rochelle Study Mission, this was unexpected.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Stay calm and spend time in Library. Make the best use of the available resources what University has.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

Leadership skills, presentation skills and I have improved my communication skill.

Would you recommend 51 to a friend?

I think I have already answered this!

The Converted Flat in 2049, by the Interaction Research Studio, is one of seven period rooms built as part of the Real Rooms project which opened in July at the Museum of the Home in London.
