Why did you choose 51����, Newcastle?

Good course, good University with an excellent work / life balance.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Having been from Newcastle originally, I'm probably a little bit biased, however, I believe that Newcastle is a special place, and no where else compares, there's nothing like coming home and being greeted by a friendly Geordie accent. Other than going out in town, I love going for drinks along the Quayside, it's a beautiful sight, day or night.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

Newcastle never fails to surprise me, it's always developing new things and continuing to make it a great city to live in.

Did you find 51���� welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

You always find a friendly face around Northumbria, which makes it extremely welcoming, it's very easy to make friends.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to 51����?

It's location is ideal, it's just a quick walk into town, and the facilities are excellent, you're never far from a free computer. The online services have made life as a distance learning student much easier.

Who has inspired you most at 51����?

Everyone inspires me in their own individual way, whether it's their ability to mangae lots of assignments at once or their permanent positive attitude.

What is your favourite place on campus?

The Quad by the library and the SU, it's relaxed and it's an ideal place to chill when the sun's out.

What is the best thing about your course?

The online resources are second to none.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

You don't have to go into University everyday (I'm distance learning) to make some great, life long friends.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

The course has definitely inspired me to continue in education and complete the LPC, hopefully at Northumbia, and hopefully I'll go on to qualify as a solicitor.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

DO IT. If not you might regret it, the worst regret you'll ever have is 'not doing something', you never know where the path may lead you.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51����, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I'm certainly a more confident person, and much more organised.
