Why did you choose 51, Newcastle?

It is well known for good grades, particularly this course also.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

I love Newcastle, I enjoy eating out and going to the cinema.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

Accessibility.

Did you find 51 welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

It was very welcoming, university is very daunting at first but staff are very friendly and helpful and encourage students.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to 51?

I love the course and the staff.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

Staff have helped me every step of the way.

Who has inspired you most at 51?

The staff whom teach the course as they are all well experienced in the field.

What is your favourite place on campus?

The Students' Union is a very nice place to do work, have a catch up or have lunch.

What is the best thing about your course?

I love everything about the course!

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I would like to be a nurse, hopefully have the opportunity to progress on to a Masters.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?

I have been on placements and found it very helpful to gain actual experience in the field.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Do it, you will not regret it!

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I feel a lot happier I am pursuing a career I have dreamed of.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Hard, rewarding, worthwhile
