Why did you choose 51, Newcastle?
So I could stay at home and because of the course reputation.
What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?
I love Newcastle. I've lived here all of my life and still find new things to do and new places to go.
What have you enjoyed most about coming to 51?
The people I've met, I've made friends for life.
Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?
Definitely the uni family!
Who has inspired you most at 51?
Gill Reid. She is brilliant.
What is your favourite place on campus?
The lunch room. It's a nice relaxed space where we can let off some steam.
What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?
To stay calm! And how to teach!
What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?
To be a primary school teacher.
Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?
I've been on lots of placements over the last three years, all very different but all useful and informative in their own way... And all massive learning journeys!
How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?
I've grown in confidence and have gained skills which will enable me to to the job I have aspired to do since I was small.

Tough. Rewarding. Worthwhile.
