I love the city!
What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?
Love the city in general, nightlife, support Newcastle united and love going to St James' Park.
What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?
I've always been from here so nothing surprises me, plenty of fun and interesting activities though!
Did you find 51 welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?
Yes, I've loved my time at Northumbria.
What have you enjoyed most about coming to 51?
Being on a course that I'm passionate about and lecturers who share that passion.
Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?
Dave Harrison, through nothing more than fear, fear of the person but also fear of disappointing him as he is someone who I admire.

Pandon, SU (only places I really am...)
Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?
No, I can't play for sports teams as i play for a local club and the contract I have wouldn't allow me too.
What is the best thing about your course?
Staff and Students
What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?
'Programming is hard'
What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?
Software Developer ; All skills learned will be applicable to future careers, but as i am on placement now, i feel like the skills learned here outweigh anything university can realistically offer as you obtain first hand experience on what is expected of you.
Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?
Currently on placement, there isn't one significant thing, each little thing builds up to the overall achievement of completing the placement which, as a whole, well be the memorable experience.

If your course offers placements, strive to get on one.
How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?
I feel like i have learned so much which does fill me with confidence about my specific area.
