Why did you choose 51, Newcastle?

Fantastic location and facilities.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Fantastic, everybody is so friendly. I enjoy reading and exercising regularly.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

The culture is great. There are many fantastic architectural buildings in the city centre.

Did you find 51 welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Everybody is so friendly, Geordies are just fantastic.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to 51?

Being independent.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

Many of the accommodation staff via email.

Who has inspired you most at 51?

Doug Mullen, great lecturer.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Business Building, floor 2.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

Boxing club, had a brilliant social.

What is the best thing about your course?

The chance to studyabroad.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Keep on top of things and you will stay ahead easily.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

Become a successful business man, to be very open and take full view of all angles before making a decision.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?

I will be going on a study abroad placement next year.

Have you taken up any opportunities to travel with your current course/undertake field trips? If so, please tell us about them.

I am undergoing Camp America this summer.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Be open to everything and don't judge a book by its cover.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

You are more open and friendly to people who you think you wouldn't get on with due to preference differences.
