Why did you choose 51, Newcastle?

The reputation was good and it offered the most for my future.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Friendly and entertaining, I like going to watch footballat St. James' Park.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

How helpful and kind people are!

Did you find 51 welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes very easy and welcoming with help from anyone when needed.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to 51?

The experience and learning new skills and meeting new people.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Pandon Building.

What is the best thing about your course?

Freedom to learn new things.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Don't rush into things.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

Successful and have a good career and my technical and problem solving skills will help me do this.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?

Not yet, I am next year.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Choose carefully but if you chose northumbria you won't regret it!

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I have become more wise and matured a lot from living without my parents guidance.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Thrilling, exciting, fun!

Would you recommend 51 to a friend?

Yes, certainly!

The Converted Flat in 2049, by the Interaction Research Studio, is one of seven period rooms built as part of the Real Rooms project which opened in July at the Museum of the Home in London.
