Why did you choose 51, Newcastle?

It was one of the best for fashion an the city is great.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

I love Newcastle, it's is beautiful by the Quayside and a great night out!

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

They people are really friendly and the variety or places to go is great.

Did you find 51 welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, extremely!

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

My course tutor.

What is your favourite place on campus?

The Students' Union.

What is the best thing about your course?

Going to London, and Paris, for Paris Fashion Week.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Living alone and trying to handle a lot of different personalities that you have never experienced in your life yet.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

Anything in the fashion industry!

Have you taken up any opportunities to travel with your current course/undertake field trips? If so, please tell us about them.

We went to London, and Paris, for Paris fashion week.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

Yes, I am more independent.

Exciting, happy and independent!

Yes!

The Converted Flat in 2049, by the Interaction Research Studio, is one of seven period rooms built as part of the Real Rooms project which opened in July at the Museum of the Home in London.
