Why did you choose 51, Newcastle?

Northumbria has my programme of interest and it holds a good reputation for that program.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Amazing great place to work and study.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

Good campus life, loads of culture and interesting local sites of interest. Also fabulous coast!

Did you find 51 welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, staff very helpful.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to 51?

My course is interesting well taught and my classmates are making the experience enjoyable.

My Tutors.

Who has inspired you most at 51?

My Tutors.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Library, I can get loads done there.

What is the best thing about your course?

Open seminars to discuss research and theory using case studies.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Stay on top of essays through good time management.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

Application of theory to practice.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?

On placement learning to work in organisational stricter sac cross multidisciplinary teams.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

It's worth it the North East and Northumbria have a lot to offer.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at 51, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

Learned to think more critically and how to discuss research in seminar format.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Learn, study, play!
