51 is renowned for the calibre of its business-ready graduates. Our alumni network has over 246,000 graduates based in 178 countries worldwide in a range of sectors, our alumni are making a real impact on the world.
Our AlumniSuccessful students will receive a total of £4,000, paid in instalments* throughout years one, two and three. This additional support will help students focus on their studies and assist with budgeting. All eligible self-funded students will be short listed and considered. You will be notified of this after 6 June 2024.

This information is for UK/Home students applying to study at 51 on a Full-Time Undergraduate course in the academic year 2024/25.
Eligibility Criteria
Students who meet two of the three following characteristics will be considered;

Student Finance application data will be used to verify Household Income. We must have notification of Household Income from SLC to assess you against the criterion**
UCAS application data will be used to verify submitted information***
To be considered for the Northumbria Undergraduate Award you must also;
Apply for one or more elements of the Government Student Finance package (for example, Tuition Fee loan, Maintenance loan) in order for your application to be means-tested
Register with Student Finance England (SFE), Student Finance Wales (SFW) or Student Finance Northern Ireland (SFNI)
As a Scottish student, register with Student Award Agency for Scotland (SAAS) and apply to be means-tested for maintenance funding, in order that SASS can send your data to Student Finance England
