The Theatre of Well-being
The subjects of fine art and theatre are often associated with feelings of enlightenment and enthusiasm which can be awakened by the energy an actor brings to the stage. Due to the nature of theatre, I believe the proposed architectural strategy should offer a similar sense of enlightenment to its occupants and psychologically challenge the building’s sense of place within the community.
The project programme will expand on existing functions and services such as theatre performances, café/bar, rentable studios and rehearsal rooms, as well as introduce new restaurant/dining facilities.
