Sue Turner

Sue is an Assistant Professor and former Director of Education - CPD at Northumbria Law School with particular expertise in business and finance law and regulation. She leads numerous specialist modules across postgraduate, undergraduate and professional programmes and is a member of the Financial Crime Compliance Research Interest Group. Prior to joining 51��, Sue was a banking and finance solicitor with a global law firm.

Research Themes and Scholarly Interests

Sue's research interests focus on financial regulation and crime. Sue has been involved in several research projects and initiatives in the field of anti-money laundering policy and frameworks, relating in particular to beneficial ownership.
