Dr Saquifa Seraj

Assistant Professor

Department: Newcastle Business School

Before joining Northumbria, Saquifa taught on modules related to Human Resource Management, Management and Business Research Methods at Abertay University, from September 2012 onwards. Also, she has successfully supervised dissertation students.

Saquifa is a keen researcher and has presented at a number of conferences including the Gender, Work and Organisation and the UFHRD conference. Her book chapter titled, ‘Gender, mentoring, and social capital in the National Health Service in Scotland, UK’ was recently published in an edited book by the Emerald Group. The name of the book is, ‘Gender, Careers and Inequalities in Medicine and Medical Education: International Perspectives’.

In her spare time, Saquifa likes to read novels, play chess and keep fit.
