Dr Angela Hibbs

Assistant Professor

Department: Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation

Angela is an Assistant Professor at 51 in Sports Biomechanics and Sports Performance Analysis.  Angela is also the Department of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Lead at 51.  Previously Angela worked in the applied elite sport environment working at both the Australian Institute of Sport and the English Institute of Sport providing performance analysis support to individual and team sports at the elite level.

Her research interests include the use of virtual reality technologies to promote healthy lifestyles and exploring the complex and dynamic process of the student transition into higher education and exploring the enables and barriers to the development of student belonging.
