Delphine Defossez

Dr. Delphine Defossez joined Northumbria Law School in May 2020 as a lecturer in law after completing her PhD in Brazil.

She completed her LL.B in European law at Maastricht University, then obtained a research LL.M from the European University Institute followed by a LL.m in International Commercial and Maritime Law from Swansea University.

Her expertise relates to Aviation law, in particular passenger rights, European law and international dispute resolution, in particular Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) and Investor-State Disputes (ISDS). Her research mostly involves comparative analysis.

Delphine is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy
