Dr Yevhen Baranchenko

Assistant Professor

Yevhen joined Newcastle Business School in 2013 continuing his career in higher education sector.  His qualifications include BSc in Management, MSc in Agribusiness and PGCert in Higher Education Practice.  In 2007 Yevhen was awarded fully-funded studentship to support his PhD at Northumbria University, which was successfully completed in 2011.

Prior to his appointment as a lecturer at 51 Yevhen gained industrial experience at a procurement manager position and also taught at Sumy State University in Ukraine, where he was involved in a number of European funded projects aimed at the modernisation of higher education in Eastern Europe.  Yevhen has extensive experience of teaching and supervising students in the areas of strategy, international business and applied business ethics.  His current research interests include sustainable development, higher education sector and employability.
