Dr Khalid Boutaine

Dr. Khalid Boutaine is a distinguished professional with a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Central Lancashire. He also holds a master's degree in Accounting and Finance with CIMA, and earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from the same university. 

Dr Khalid Boutaine joined the Newcastle Business School in Decembre 2023. He previously worked as a lecturer in accounting and finance since 2018 at University of Central Lancashire where he has been Nominated for Golden Roses award (excellent teaching and support). As an Associate Fellow of Higher Education, Dr. Boutaine brings a wealth of experience to academia, with expertise in teaching accounting and finance modules, including project management. His research interests align within the fields of applied With a focus on auditing, financial reporting quality, capital structure, and accounting management, Dr. Boutaine combines academic knowledge with practical insights. His extensive experience in the field and commitment to higher education contribute to his reputation as a valuable asset in the realms of accounting and finance.
