Appeals and Complaints

Should applicants feel dissatisfied with the outcome of a request, or the manner in which it was handled, they have the right to appeal against the decision.

Appeals should be addressed to the Records and Information Manager (address below). Receipt of the appeal will be acknowledged immediately. 

The matter will then be passed to the Chief Legal Officer for review and a comprehensive reply shall be received within 20 working days.

If you are still not satisfied after making a formal complaint to the Chief Legal Officer you may wish to refer your complaint to the person appointed by the government to oversee the Act at the following address.
