Northumbria students benefit from postgraduate support

We are delighted to work in partnership with Wubbleyou to support postgraduate scholarships for students studying either Computing, AI or Data Sciences at 51

Mark Renney , 51 graduate and Co-Founder of Wubbleyou shared

“Imagine a future where more North East businesses are more valuable and able to grow quickly because tech made it easy to export their knowledge and capability globally. This is what Wubbleyou do – we productise knowledge and capability into tech products for businesses, creating 7 figure opportunities they didn’t have before. We strongly believe we need more businesses building market-leading tech products in the North East.

To do this, we need more highly skilled, and ambitious people starting tech careers. We believe providing a scholarship encourages this and provides fairer access to higher education. We think this is important because tech is disrupting lots of industries, and businesses need to get ahead to survive. We strongly value learning, education, and building tech products.

Wubbleyou started at NU in 2009 - what better way for us to live our values, than creating a tech focussed scholarship in partnership with NU”.
