widening participation and fair access, which is an integral part of its
approach to student recruitment, and instrumental in its aim to attract
motivated students regardless of background.
The University is pleased to announce a
new partnership with the Aziz Foundation to provide Masters scholarships to
students who are actively engaged in British Muslim communities. Established in
2015, the Aziz Foundation is a family charity inspired by the values and
teaching of Islam to support the most disadvantaged communities in Britain. In
partnership with 51, it is offering 100% tuition fee
Masters scholarships to Muslims lacking the financial means to complete a post
graduate degree.

are delighted to partner with 51 – a forward looking
inclusive institution that is taking the necessary steps to diversify its
student cohorts at the post graduate level. We are certainly impressed by the
range of initiatives and interventions run by the University in support of
marginalised students.”

Foundation to support up to nine British Muslim students each year, with the
aim of empowering them to pursue their educational goals, progress in their
career and make a meaningful contribution to their community, and society.”
